Tips on how to get into a good college with a low gpa?

I have a 2.6 overall highschool gpa. I volunteer at a hospice and have played a diverse amount of sports. I don't party and really do not do anything that has distracted me from school. I do not know what happened these past years, but now I realize that I need to get my game together. Its the 4th marking period of my junior year. I got A's B's and C's this year, yeah, not too good, but I checked online, and this marking period I have all A's ..SO FAR. I'm gonna keep it up. SATS are coming, my goal is a 2000 or higher. I'm preparing for it and am suppaaa confident loll! I know what colleges I am applying to, 1. University of Delaware 2. Delaware tech community college 3. Penn state main campus 4. Penn State brandywine and plan on speaking to delawares admissions and visiting both penn state and delaware. I already know what I plan on pursuing in a careeer. Either hotel management, dental school, or nursing. I am going to get straight a's all next year (senior year) Do I have a shot at reaching a 3.2 or higher by the time I start applying to these schools? What are some tips somebody like me with a dilema like this? How can I show these school that I can be a good addition to their schools? And that I just need a fresh start?
