Cancer Please give me advice?

somone in my family has terminal cancer. I need to get them to start eating we have to spoon feed them. we tried everything i think. he's been in the hospital so there is nothing they can do. Hospice is comming but I dont think they will help much because they will only come once every two weeks. He has no energy to even eat, he can barley swallow. Is ther any food that cancer paintents like this will eat. We tried making his favorite foods, and soft foods, the doctors said the brain is tricking him into thinking that the food is "not edible" IS THERE A CERTAIN FOOD THAT WILL STIMULATE HIM AND MAKE HIM WANT MORE FOOD?
